Federal agencies and commercial firms are faced with a myriad of expanding requirements to clean up contaminated sites; operate current facilities with minimal effluents, discharges, and wastes; and to plan future facilities with minimal impacts to the environment and surrounding communities. Meeting these requirements requires access to a broad array of expertise.

Jason maintains a core staff of senior engineers and scientists with extensive environmental and regulatory experience and supplements that staff with additional personnel as necessary.  This includes maintaining a cadre of senior professionals on an as-needed basis to provide specialty support should the need arise.  Jason has also implemented innovative communications protocols for each project team that provide for effective teamwork on particular projects; even if a number of the staff is working remotely.  This permits Jason’s teams to support projects efficiently regardless of their geographical diversity.

Jason's responsibilities on support services contracts include compliance with NEPA, operational compliance with RCRA, compliance with Clean Water Act regulations, and implementation of federal orders and directives. On a task-order basis, Jason regularly prepares natural resource studies and plans, ecological risk assessments, environmental planning guidance, RCRA Part B permits and permit reviews, water quality permit applications, NEPA compliance documents (including environmental assessments and environmental impact statements), and baseline inventories.

One of Jason's specialty areas is providing comprehensive environmental risk assessments with emphasis on site characterizations, regulatory and site management profiles, descriptions of land-use practices, hazard identification, exposure assessments, and environmental risk identification. These risk assessments can be used to provide NEPA, CERCLA, and OSHA documentation as well as safety analysis reports.
