Jason’s core competencies support a business focus on environmental support services and NEPA evaluations.
Environmental Support Services
Jason has provided environmental support services to the Departments of Defense and Energy (DoD and DOE). Recent DoD experience includes being awarded three consecutive contracts to provide environmental support services to the U.S. Army’s Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) for over nine years. During these contracts, Jason staff supported the preparation of all site permits, conducted permit- and YPG-procedural inspections, implemented the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission license associated with radioactive materials in munitions and the associated delivery systems, conducted wetlands assessments and waters of the United States determinations, performed noise evaluations associated with surveillance associated with border protection, and fast-tracked NEPA evaluations, compliance, and permitting activities to support national security programs and systems. Much of the support focused on the construction of specialized training facilities and the associated military and contractor personnel training activities at those facilities.
NEPA Evaluations
Jason has been providing quality NEPA evaluation services to the DoD and DOE for over 20 years. Our personnel provide support in virtually every aspect of NEPA compliance for federal agencies including the preparation of NEPA determinations; environmental assessments (EAs); and programmatic, site- or range-wide, and project-specific environmental impact statements (EISs).
DoDexperience includes the preparation of a range-wide EIS and over 20 EAs as part of the Environmental Support Services contract at YPG.
Jason has been a contract holder for DOE’s nationwide NEPA contract since 2000 and has prepared several complex EISs, including the Yucca Mountain geologic repository EIS and SEIS, and is currently preparing two EISs for DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration. Additionally, our staff has been involved in the preparation of over 80 EAs for federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as, private industries on DOE-funded projects. |
